This nature-inspired sun cream offers broad-spectrum protection from both UVA/UVB rays using only chemical-free, natural ingredients. Intentionally formulated to be water-resistant and deeply nourishing, it helps block the sun while also hydrating the skin.

The uncoated, non-nano zinc oxide acts as a physical shield, this mineral-based SPF sits on top of the skin, creating a safe barrier without penetrating your bloodstream like chemical sunscreen.  

INGREDIENTS: Non-Nano Uncoated Zinc Oxide, Pasture Raised 100% Grass-fed  Tallow, Madagascar Vanilla Bean Infused Organic Cold-Pressed Moringa Oil, Organic Cold-Pressed Hexane-Free Castor Oil, Organic Beeswax, Organic Cacao Powder

PACKAGING: Our amber glass jars are recyclable, re-usable and UV ray blocking for preservation of our precious  tallow balm. 

SCENT: Very subtle, natural, vanilla scent. There are NO essential oils in this formula.

TEXTURE: Firm, but creamy. We do not whip this product as to best preserve the texture for outdoor use & yield a water/sweat-resistant sun balm.

STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry, and dark place—away from direct sunlight and humidity.

DIRECTIONS:  Apply generously and reapply at least once an hour. Re-apply immediately after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.

DISCLAIMER: This product has NOT been tested for exact SPF value. It is based on formulations with 20% zinc oxide providing an estimated 25-35 SPF.

NOTE: Physical/mineral sunscreens are effective by creating a barrier on top of your skin whereas chemical sunscreen work by chemicals soaking into your skin. All mineral sunscreens have a slight white cast that can appear on your skin from the zinc oxide. We have added cacao powder as a way to off set the typical white cast of most mineral sunscreens; however darker skin tones may still notice a subtle white cast.
